Blueberry pickers discovered human remains near Ignace

More information has been released about the human remains discovered near Ignace earlier this week. Officials with the OPP are reporting the find was made on Tuesday along Highway 17, about 25 kilometres east of Ignace.

More information has been released about the human remains discovered near Ignace earlier this week.

Officials with the OPP are reporting the find was made on Tuesday along Highway 17, about 25 kilometres east of Ignace. A group of people who were out blueberry picking made the discovery.

The remains have been sent to Toronto for post mortem examination. Police say foul play is not suspected.

There is no word yet on whether police have been able to determine the person’s identity.
