THUNDER BAY — Anyone looking for a last-minute ticket to the Book of Mormon in Thunder Bay this weekend may be in luck.
The production has announced a lottery ticket policy for its three shows at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium, on Saturday and Sunday.
A limited number of tickets will be available for $25 each.
The Book of Mormon production has seen as many as 800 entries at some performances as the show’s producers have offered low-priced lottery seats for every city on this national tour.
Anyone interested can enter in-person at the Auditorium box office by filling out a sign-up form and selecting the number of tickets they’d prefer. The winner will be contacted the day of the show to claim the tickets and may select up to two tickets.
On Saturday, the box office opens at 5 p.m. and the winner will be drawn at 5:30 p.m. For Sunday’s matinee, the box office opens at 10 a.m. and the winner will be drawn at 10:30 a.m. and for Sunday’s evening performance, the box office opens at 4 p.m. and the winner will be drawn at 4:30 p.m.
The Book of Mormon is the winner of nine Tony Award and features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone.
