At-large Coun. Ken Boshcoff is taking a leave of absence from his municipal duties to concentrate on his federal election campaign.

At-large Coun. Ken Boshcoff is taking a leave of absence from his municipal duties to concentrate on his federal election campaign.

Boshcoff, running for the Liberals in Thunder Bay-Rainy River, in a release issued Tuesday morning said he’ll step down temporarily from council effective April 12.

“In this way I have continued my municipal duties as required and will miss only one council meeting during the leave,” he said.

Boshcoff is running against NDP incumbent John Rafferty, Moe-Comuzzi-Stehmann of the Conservatives and the Green Party's Ed Shields.
