THUNDER BAY – Firefighters have responded to reports of a fire at the local Bombardier plant Wednesday afternoon.
Reports of a fire, followed by an evacuation of at least a section of the plant, came in before 3 p.m.
Firefighters say a piece of industrial equipment caught fire and began to smoke. Reports indicate the fire has since been taken care of, however firefighters did say they were bringing in a thermal camera to ensure there are no hotspots lingering.
