THUNDER BAY – Siblings Terri and Jamie MacDonald have won $682,892 in the October Thunder Bay 50/50 draw.

“What? What? Are you serious?” said Rosslyn’s Terri MacDonald, after getting the news from Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation president and CEO Glenn Craig.

“This is no trick, this is definitely a treat,” Craig responded.

The ninth 50/50 jackpot was the third largest since the lottery began earlier this year, and to date has given out more than $5.7 million in grand prizes.

Tickets for the November draw are already on sale, with a $5,000 early-bird draw scheduled for next Friday.

Tickets, which much be purchased in Ontario, are available at www.thunderbay5050.ca for as little as $10.
