Residents in Oliver-Paipoonge were briefly evacuated after fire crews battled a brush fire Sunday afternoon.
Volunteer firefighters and MNR water bombers spent most of the day bringing the brush fire under control in the area of Oliver Road and Point De Meuron Road.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers were asking the public to stay out of the area while crews battled the fire.
Residents, pedestrians and motorists were later allowed back in the area.
No injuries have been reported as a result of this fire.
