Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi made headlines in Winnipeg when he became lost trying to navigate his way through underground tunnels in that city.
Nenshi was in that city this past weekend for the 2016 Federation of Canadian Municipalities conference, an event that featured a handful of local delegates.
While Calgary mayor’s inability to find his way continued an ongoing conversation about an issue that is local to Winnipeg, there’s a good chance Nenshi would have no problem getting around Thunder Bay. In a brief video posted to Facebook Sunday evening, Northwood Coun. Shelby Ch’ng quickly ran the popular Calgary Mayor through some Thunder Bay references.
