THUNDER BAY — Mail delivery and operations in the city have resumed back to normal Monday.
These services were suspended last week due to the heavy snowfall.
Canada post issued a media advisory mid-day Friday informing the public of the red alert.
According to the release, all mail delivery and collection was suspended in the city, with delivery agents recalled or not sent out.
"The safety of our employees is our number one priority," read the release.
Canada Post encourages its customers to clear snow and ice and ensure safe access to the front door for the safety of both visitor and mail carriers.
