Ryden’s manager and owner Debbie Bakke told TBT News a number of people have been buying tickets, particularly in large amounts.
Canadians are eligible to win Powerball jackpot prizes. Winnings are subjected to a withholding tax of about 30 per cent, depending on the state the ticket was purchased in.
The odds of winning are about one in 292 million.
