THUNDER BAY – As the mercury continues to drop, the Care Bus is extending its hours on Sunday.

With temperatures hovering in the -20 C zone, the NorWest Community Health Centre on Saturday announced the bus will run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The bus usually runs from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Water, snacks, hats, mitts, socks and emergency warming gear will be on the bus for anyone who needs it. The Care Bus will run its regular route.

For more information, phone 807-630-8631 to reach a harm reduction outreach worker on the bus.
