Police are looking for a man suspected of stealing a charity donation jar from a doughnut shop.

Police are looking for a man suspected of stealing a charity donation jar from a doughnut shop.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the suspect stole the Change for Autism donation jar from the Robin’s Donuts located on 421 West Frederica Street on Thursday, March 28.

The man entered the doughnut and coffee shop and took the jar from the counter. The man put the jar under his jacket and left the store.

Police say the man then put the jar in a black backpack and headed east on Frederica Street. He was riding a grey bicycle.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with scruffy facial hair. He wore a striped toque, green hoodie, black and grey checkered jacket, grey pants and black shoes at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information about the identify of this male is asked to call the Thunder Bay Police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 623-8477.
