THUNDER BAY — A local man has been charged after allegedly hitting a pedestrian with his car.
Thunder Bay Police arrested and charged the driver of a vehicle after responding to a call for service in the County Fair Plaza parking lot.
The incident took place on Sept. 26, when police say a male victim was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot.
He was sent to the hospital and has remained there with life-threatening injuries.
The TBPS Traffic Unit investigated, with assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police, and arrested a 24-year-old Thunder Bay man on Oct. 23.
The accused is facing charges of dangerous operation causing bodily harm, as well as several highway traffic act offences.
After attending court, the accused was released with conditions and a future court date.
