Dougall Media officials confirmed Tuesday they are in affiliation discussions with CanWest Global.
This follows a CRTC application to disaffiliate CHFD from the CTV network. Vice-president and general manager Don Caron said nothing has been finalized at this time.
A formal announcement is expected when discussions with CanWest Global conclude.
