MINNEAPOLIS — The Thunder Bay Chill are continuing to stake their claim to a USL League Two Deep North Division playoff spot.
The Chill registered their sixth straight league win, picking up a 3-1 road victory over Minneapolis City FC on Wednesday night.
The win positions Thunder Bay at the top of the division table, with 19 points through their first eight games.
Striker Brandon Bermingham scored twice in the winning effort, with midfielder Hugo Tavares finding the back of the net for the second consecutive match.
The game ended up being moved indoors due to poor air quality in the Twin Cities area.
The Chill continue their road trip on Thursday against Rochester FC.
