THUNDER BAY — Thunder Bay Transit officials are hoping video surveillance will help lead to the arrest of the individuals responsible for the latest episode of vandalism outside city hall.

Manager Brad Loroff told TBnewswatch the incident is believed to have happened over the weekend.

The glass panel in one of the bus shelters at the city hall terminal was destroyed, but it's not clear how.

Loroff said there are surveillance cameras in the vicinity, and transit is hopeful they recorded images that will prove useful in the investigation.

He said this isn't the first time a bus shelter at city hall has been damaged.

Prior to this incident, over 20 shelters had already been vandalized around the city this year.
