City police officers had their hands full Wednesday night.
Among the reported incidents, officers with the Thunder Bay Police Service say they responded to a confrontation at a north-side home between two men. One of the men involved was armed with an axe.
Police say that man now faces a dangerous weapons charge.
Also Wednesday night, a city police officer was forced to seek medical treatment after a woman in custody spat a mouthful of blood into his face.
She's been charged with assaulting an officer.
Another man was taken into custody on Simpson Street after pulling an exacto knife on a woman.
He's been charged with assault with a weapon.
