THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Transit says it has resumed operations after temporarily suspending them because of the snow.
The public transportation organization said the move was temporary while the worst of the storm was occurring and roads still treacherous.
In a subsequent post on its Facebook page, around 10 a.m., transit said that service had resumed on all routes, but that "portions of some routes may be impacted today due to weather and challenging road conditions."
"Delays should be expected as transit operators safely navigate streets and slower traffic."
The city said that complete regular service should be restored by Saturday, March 1.
