CKPR stretches signal, morning show to air live from Atikokan
CKPR Radio waves are reaching farther into the region.
A new transmitter means people in Atikokan can now pick up the signal.
CKPR Radio’s program director, Brad Hilgers, says content will be more focused to the community.
“Well we’ve been asked for years by different people to put a repeater up there, so we’ve finally been able to do it so I’m sure everyone in Atikokan will be as excited as we are to be broadcasting there,” Hilgers said during an interview with CKPR Radio.
CKPR’s morning show will air live from Atikokan on Tuesday, Dec. 13 and Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. with Danny and Laura.
