THUNDER BAY - The old Fitness Centre at Confederation College will find a new purpose this fall.
When the college opens its new Student Wellness Centre late this month or early next month, the "Bubble" will be taken over by a private operator, RZ Realty Services, on a three-year lease.
The Lakehead Express Soccer Club says it will run its winter soccer programs in what it describes as "this premier soccer facility," which will be equipped with state-of-the-art AstroTurf.
The indoor season runs from November to March
On its website, the club says all players will have access to change rooms with lockers to store their equipment.
Age groups consist of under 5, under 7, under 9, under 11, and 11 to 14.
