THUNDER BAY -- The Thunder Bay District Health Unit says a positive COVID-19 case has been detected at Corpus Christi School.

In a release issued on Sunday evening, the health unit said they are working with the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board to identify any close contacts and manage any potential exposure at the school or any related settings, including bus transportation.

Individuals in the same classroom or bus transportation are considered close contacts.

Close contacts will be contacted directly by a public health nurse and given instructions of what to do. Anyone not considered a close contact will not be contacted.
