THUNDER BAY – A COVID-19 case has been confirmed at Ogden Community School.
Lakehead Public Schools announced the case on Thursday afternoon, saying one individual associated with the school has tested positive for the virus.
All close contacts, which would include anyone in the same classroom or on the same bus route, will be contacted by a public health nurse and given further instructions.
This could include students, staff or visitors to the school.
Anyone identified as a close contact will be sent home and not allowed to return to the classroom until cleared by public health.
A full investigation will take place over the next few days.
