THUNDER BAY — A COVID-19 outbreak at a Thunder Bay long-term care home has been declared over.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit and the City of Thunder Bay on Monday announced the termination of the outbreak at Pioneer Ridge on Jasper Drive.
COVID-19 had infected residents or staff in the Plaza 1 area of the 150-bed city-operated nursing home.
The outbreak was first declared on May 31.
According to TBDHU's latest published data, there remains only one active outbreak among high-risk settings in the Thunder Bay district.
