THUNDER BAY — An outbreak of COVID-19 in a unit of a Thunder Bay nursing home is now over.
On Wednesday morning, the district health unit and Southbridge Care Homes announced the conclusion of the outbreak at the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home on Shuniah Street.
The outbreak in the Primrose unit of the facility was initially declared on Aug. 18, 2022.
According to the most recent published data by TBDHU, there are currently three other publicly disclosed COVID outbreaks in high-risk settings in Thunder Bay, plus one at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Marathon.
