Organizers of the 2nd annual Red Rock Ice Fishing Derby want the public to know that the event is good to go for Saturday, and that ice conditions are safe on that section of Lake Superior.
Just more than a hundred people have purchased entries for the derby, which starts at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Entries can still be purchased right up until one hour before the derby begins.
