THUNDER BAY -- Don Rusnak hosted a meeting Wednesday afternoon looking to engage senior citizens.
The Liberal MP for Thunder Bay-Rainy River covered a range of topics including health, Guaranteed Income Supplement, changes to the CPP, and affordable housing.
About 20 people were in attendance looking for answers about their retirement.
The main point of contention during the meeting was in regards to Bill C-27, a new piece of federal legislation that amends the Pension Benefits Standards Act.
Many were quick to give their disapproval…something that Rusnak didn't mind.
He said it was constructive to hear input from those he represents.
Rusnak will take all the input gathered from the meeting tonight and bring it before the House of Commons.
