THUNDER BAY A Gorham Township man faces multiple charges after an incident over the weekend just outside Thunder Bay.

OPP were conducting radar enforcement Friday night in the Dog Lake Road/Dawson Road area when they clocked a vehicle travelling at 154 kilometres per hour in an 80 km/h zone.

After conducting a traffic stop, officers administered a roadside screening test which the driver failed.

He was then taken to the Thunder Bay detachment for further testing.

Police have charged the 25-year-old man with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a vehicle while impaired, stunt driving, and possessing a non-photo card portion of a cancelled, revoked or suspended licence.

He received a 90-day administrative driver's licence suspension, and had his vehicle impounded for 14 days.

The accused was released from custody for a court appearance in September.
