Officers with the Wawa detachment of the OPP have now laid charges in connection with the horrific crash that left four people dead over the weekend.
The fatal crash took place at about 7:30 a.m. Monday when the vehicle struck a rock cut on Highway 17, about 20 kilometres west of Wawa.
The driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but his four passengers died as a result of the crash.
Police say the driver is a 52-year-old Manitoba man.
Police also say they've charged him with careless driving.
The identities of the four victims have not been released.
