DRYDEN, Ont. — The City of Dryden has contracted with The Loomex Group to manage the Dryden Regional Airport.

The aerospace operations firm currently runs five other airports including Greenstone, Nakina and Peterborough.

In an announcement Monday, the city said it already has a long-term partnership with Loomex with training and emergency exercises.

It said a key priority for Loomex in Dryden is to develop business and strategic plans.

The official handover will take place in December when current manager Norm Sanders retires after a lengthy career.

Dryden Regional Airport opened in 1969.
