OTTAWA – Thunder Bay’s Team Dubinsky got back on a winning track on Day 3 of the Canadian Under-18 Curling Championships in Ottawa.

The foursome, who call the Kakabeka Curling Club home, made easy work of the Northwest Territories on Wednesday morning, scoring two in the first and three more in the fourth, going on to claim another victory with an 8-1 triumph.

Team Dubinsky, which includes lead Lily Ariganello, second Bella McCarville and third Rylie Paul, improved to 3-2 at the week-long event, good for solo third place behind New Brunswick No. 1 and Ontario No. 2.

They’ll finish up round robin play on Thursday afternoon against Alberta’s Emma DeSchiffart, who is 2-2 entering her Wednesday night match against New Brunswick No. 2.

The top four teams in each of the three pools advance to the playoff round.
