THUNDER BAY – Students will be dismissed early from local schools Wednesday due to weather conditions.
Parents and guardians were asked to pick up children as soon as possible by the Lakehead District School Board and Thunder Bay District Catholic School Board early Wednesday afternoon.
Secondary students will be dismissed after period 4, the public board said.
The Catholic board said it was “encouraging” early pick-up but would not close schools early.
After-school programs were also cancelled.
