Police charged a man with robbery after allegedly assaulting and robbing an elderly man.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say they were on patrol when they witnessed an incident near Bethune Street around 9 p.m. on Friday.
Police say a man assaulted an elderly man and attempted to rob him. Police intervened and arrested the man, who was later charged with robbery.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
