It's time to start paying close attention to the signs along the Thunder Bay Expressway.
The speed limit has dropped from 90 kilometres an hour down to 70 km/h for the summer construction season.
The two-year project began last summer, and contractors with Carillion Construction are expected to resume work on Monday upgrading the intersections, re-paving the highway and installing new light poles.
Speeds will remain at 70 km/h until construction is complete in the fall.
OPP officials say they will be out in force, ticketing speedy motorists.
