A fast food chain is helping make wishes come true for local children with life-threatening illnesses.
During the month of June, Wendy's restaurants will donate a percentage of all chili sales as well as one dollar donations from customers to support the Children's Wish Foundation.
George Badani is the local director for Children's Wish, and says the organization has never turned down a child in need in Thunder Bay.
Last year's fundraiser saw Wendy's raise $10,000 for the Children's Wish Foundation.
The restaurant chain hopes to beat that total during the month of June this year.
