KENORA, Ont. -- Provincial police are investigating a fatal three-vehicle crash near Kenora.
The OPP said the collision happened on Monday afternoon at the junction of highways 17 and 596.
The driver of a passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. That individual was the lone occupant of the vehicle. Other injuries are unknown at this time, police added.
The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time, pending notification of the next of kin.
Police said the highway will be closed for an unknown length of time.
