THUNDER BAY — A minor fire ignited on the south side of the James Street Swing Bridge this afternoon, causing Thunder Bay Fire Rescue to close the bridge briefly to get the flames under control.
The fire was described as minor by a fire captain on scene.
Traffic had been reopened in the bridge's northbound lane as of 3 p.m.
