A family’s garage on Mountain Road has been reduced to rubble after an early morning fire.
Thunder Bay Fire and Rescue crews were called to the residence at around 4 a.m. Friday, and found the garage completely engulfed in flames.
Firefighters were able to prevent the blaze from spreading to an adjacent home. A vintage motorcycle was also destroyed in the fire, but the owner says he was able to remove his boat before the fire spread further.
The family is insured, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
