THUNDER BAY -- Thunder Bay Fire Rescue is on scene battling a fire at a residence on Simpson Street.

Crews, using an aerial ladder to attack the fire, appear to be concentrating efforts on the roof of the bungalow style home.

No one is believed to have been injured in the fire, which required six pumpers and two aerial ladders to fight. Thunder Bay Fire Rescue said one occupant was home when the fire broke out and expect to have the fire under control overnight.

This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.
