Firefighters respond to Chippewa Trailer Park fire

No injuries were reported in the incident, which took place on Sunday afternoon.

THUNDER BAY – Firefighters on Sunday responded to a structural fire at the Chippewa Trailer Park, where they encountered smoke and fire coming from the roof of a structure on the property.

According to a release issued by Thunder Bay Fire Rescue, arriving crews were able to apply water to the building before making entry to search for potential victims.

All occupants were confirmed to be outside the building and no injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported as a result of the incident, which began at approximately 3:24 p.m..

Four pumpers and a command vehicle responded.

The extent of the damage was not reported.
