Flu Clinic Launch in Thunder Bay

Dr. David Williams, medical officer of health and Diana Gowanlock, manager of infectious diseases, will be providing a brief overview of this year’s flu program at the City’s first flu clinic which will be held at the Italian Cultural Centre.

The Health Unit is reminding the public to inFLUence others to get the flu shot. Getting the flu shot early in the season is one way to keep a step ahead of the virus.

The first two flu clinics, which will be held at the Italian Cultural Centre and the DaVinci Centre, are targeting high priority populations, but will also open to the general public.

Dr. Williams will be receiving the first flu shot.

The event is expected to last approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
