THUNDER BAY - Five people were arrested during a drug bust on Marks Street North.
In an OPP-led investigation through the Provincial Joint Forces Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team (PGNG), four people from Thunder Bay and one person from Etobicoke were arrested during the raid on the morning of Jan. 31.
After executing a search warrant at the home, police seized over 19 grams of fentanyl, 110 hydromorphone pills, 90 grams of suspected crack cocaine, two cell phones and over three grand in Canadian cash.
The drugs seized by police have an estimated street value of over $21,000.
Two women, 33 and 44 years old from Thunder Bay, were arrested, along with two 36-year-old men from the city.
The fifth suspect, a 33-year-old man from Etobicoke, was also arrested, and all have been charged with multiple drug offences.
OPP said the investigation was supported by the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service, Thunder Bay Police Service, and the Thunder Bay OPP detachment.
All accused are in custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay.
