THUNDER BAY — Friday morning's early snowfall has temporarily disrupted another local service.
On Friday, the City of Thunder Bay said that garbage collection scheduled for the day has been cancelled due to accumulated snow and slippery roads.
The city said that residents in Zones 1 and 2 in Area 4, who normally receive garbage collection on Fridays, are being asked to leave their garbage at the curb for collection on Saturday.
The city reminded people that all bags and containers are to be left on the ground, and not on snowbanks.
