THUNDER BAY --- Giant Gymnastics is so excited to return to the competition floor.

It has been almost two years since the athletes of Giant Gymnastics have been allowed to compete. Their last competition was March 6,7 and 8, 2020, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

"Our goal was to help our athletes physically and mentally during such a trying time," said owner Jen Nedgial.

"We are so proud of each and every one of these incredible, dedicated athletes. Teaching the sport of gymnastics on Zoom took a lot of ingenuity and our experienced coaches, Lisa Ward, Samantha Makin, Taylor Giertuga, Mackenzie Larocue, Head Coach Abbey Nedgial and myself put our heart and soul into it. It was incredible that each day we had nearly perfect attendance," Nedgial continued.

Nedgial added, "when our Provincial Sport Governing Body gave the go ahead, we jumped at the chance to let these gymnasts show what they have been working so long and hard for. "

Giant Gymnastics heads to their first competition on Feb. 25 representing Northwestern Ontario in Ottawa.
