THUNDER BAY -- City police responded to more than 275 incidents during the week of Monday, June 29, 2015 through Sunday, July 5, 2015.
Thunder Bay Police Service statistics are made available through crimereports.com, a website that tracks reported crime via information provided by local police services.
The more than 275 incidents reported last week is an estimate and does not include traffic cases.
South of the Harbour Expressway, city police responded to 155 reported crimes. Some of the more serious incidents included:
• 11 Assaults
• 8 Break and enter
• 1 Robbery
• 3 Sexual assault
• 13 Thefts
• 7 Thefts from vehicles
• 7 Weapons charges
Meanwhile, north of the Harbour Expressway, officers responded to more than 120 criminal reports.
Some of the more serious incidents reported include:
• 17 Assaults
• 6 Break and enters
• 1 Robbery
• 3 Sexual assault
• 13 Thefts
• 5 Theft from vehicles
• 2 Weapons charges
The vast majority of cases city police responded to were listed as either liquor or disorder.
