Great Benjamins Circus returns to the city

Lasting roughly 90 minutes, the show promises relentless excitement and energy, appealing to both children and adults.

THUNDER BAY – The Great Benjamins Circus has returned to Thunder Bay.

In town until Sunday at the CLE grounds, the circus features a variety of acts including clowns, acrobats, aerialists, and daredevils from all over the globe.

“We're really excited to be in Thunder Bay," said Eva Rodriguez, artist, dancer, and director of operations.

“We have a cast of international superstars all the way from Morocco, from Argentina, and we're here in our big top to entertain. We're super excited.”

Lasting roughly 90 minutes, the show promises relentless excitement and energy, appealing to both children and adults. Despite some nervousness surrounding the show after an accident in 2023, the first few shows in the city saw a packed house.

“The crowd's been really incredible,” said Rodriguez. “We've received such great feedback, tons of smiling faces, happy - fans so much cheering and applause. It's just been so warm and inviting."

The circus continues this weekend with three shows Saturday at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. and three more on Sunday at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are available online - $25 for children and $35 for adults.

After leaving Thunder Bay, the Great Benjamins Circus will head east to Sault Ste Marie where it will perform another nine shows before moving on to Sudbury.
