THUNDER BAY — It's not enough money to buy a car or renovate a house, but a group of Thunder Bay area residents received enough cash from a lottery win to pay for a lot of Christmas presents this year.
OLG reported Tuesday that 26 people were awarded $100,000 after their $1.00 Encore ticket in the May 18, 2022 draw matched the last six of seven digits.
The group included 23 residents of Thunder Bay, one person from Jacques Township and two residents of Shuniah.
OLG released a photo of group representative Cosimo Valente posing with a symbolic cheque.
