Health Unit urging people to get up-to-date whooping cough vaccines

Officials with the Thunder Bay and District Health Unit are encouraging everyone to get up-to-date whooping cough vaccines. Health Unit officials say there have been four confirmed cases in the district since August.

Officials with the Thunder Bay and District Health Unit are encouraging everyone to get up-to-date whooping cough vaccines. 

Health Unit officials say there have been four confirmed cases in the district since August.

The vaccine is free to everyone in Ontario, and a booster shot may be required for people aged 19- to 64-years-old.
