THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is advising the public of possible exposure to COVID-19 on a Jan. 26 Air Canada flight from Toronto to Thunder Bay.

Those sitting in rows 24 to 30 on flight AC 392 that day could have been exposed to the virus, the health unit warned in a release Sunday morning.

The agency issued a similar warning Saturday for another Toronto-Thunder Bay Air Canada flight the previous day, on Jan. 25.

“Overall the risk of someone being infected would be low,” the health unit advised.

Affected individuals are advised to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms. If any develop, they are instructed to call the health unit at (807) 625-5900.

The health unit previously warned of exposure on at least seven Thunder Bay-Toronto flights over the holiday period.
