THUNDER BAY -- Police are asking the public to avoid a section of Ambrose Street between Court and Pearl streets.
In a release issued on Monday night, police say they have a significant presence in the area, calling it an ongoing situation, but releasing no other details as to the nature of the situation.
Police say they will update the public when more information becomes available, and ask passersby to avoid the area.
It's the second time this month police have been called to the Ambrose Street area.
