THUNDER BAY — It's been an unusually dry autumn in the city, but Thunder Bay residents may want to dig out their raingear and umbrellas.
Environment Canada is predicting heavy rain on Tuesday, with more showers to follow Wednesday and possibly into Thursday.
Forecasters expect precipitation to start before morning, and to continue through Tuesday with heavy downpours at times, accompanied by wind gusts of 30 to 60 km/h.
Total accumulations are anticipated to reach 35 to 50 mm by Tuesday night.
