THUNDER BAY -- Don't dig out the golf clubs just yet.

Thunder Bay, according to Environment Canada, is now under a winter storm warning, which could bring between four and eight millimetres of freezing rain, and heavy snow and ice pellets accumulations between 15 and 20 centimetres.

The freezing rain is expected to begin on Sunday morning and turn to snow and ice pellets in the afternoon. Heavy snow will start on Sunday evening and continue into Monday night.

The heavy snow and strong winds could produce near-zero visibility in blowing snow, at times. The storm is expected to diminish on Monday night.
